There has been a few ECP – EECP companies outside the U.S selling equipment for next to nothing. Many Chinese ECP – EECP manufacturers have made a hand full of system sales in various markets but the response has been “other than satisfactory”.
In the U.S, these units do not stand a chance without FDA approval. Is there a reason why non of these companies can get an approval from the FDA to market their devices? Various companies have been applying, but not yet received the approval. One can only guess because the product performance & safety have yet met the demands to get access to the U.S market.
We had the chance to have hands a hands on experience with a Chinese made ECP device and the quality is substantially inferior. The inflation pressure does not reach the levels of US made systems and the reliability is not there. The parts used to make the device are mostly plastics rather than aluminum and steel brought by USA made ECP – EECP units. Plus, how would you possibly get support?
We bet the Chinese companies will improve the processes and quality over time as they do with other technologies. However in our professional opinion, we recommend other markets follow the suit and buy USA made ECP EECP machines.
